What has quarantine entailed for artists in the far corners of the world<\/em>?<\/em><\/p>\n

The art project Quarantine Stories<\/em> brings together six international artists in the creation of one mutual rug. This rug is a joined composition of stories, interweaving the\u00a0experiences of artists based in different epicentres of the Corona pandemic.<\/p>\n

Quarantine Stories was initiated by Swedish designer Anna Forsberg\u00a0during the previous group exhibition Quarantena<\/em> at Galleri Sebastian Schildt.<\/p>\n

The participating artists had not met each other before and Quarantine Stories<\/em> explored how a collaborative creative process could occur without meeting in person. After agreeing on nine colours, each artist worked in their own studio to make their own patterns, which were then joined to create the rug.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The exhibition Anna Forsberg & Q<\/em>uarantine Stories\u00a0<\/em>likewise features the artists\u2019 individual rug patterns in the form of ten smaller rugs.<\/p>\n
