Mona Fällberg is the cocky and headstrong gold and silversmith who has a very unique sense of quality and contrasts. Her new collection offers about twenty pieces of jewelry where every hammer blow and felt stroke follows the rhythm and “vibe” of hip-hop. It’s a journey through the first thirty years of American hip-hop culture where every piece of jewelry is a loving interpretation of iconic songs and a tribute to legendary artists.

Hip hop is more than just music. It is also a powerful way of expression, an attitude and a way of life. The pulsating beat forms the basis of an art expression that is not only heard but also seen. The jewelry collection is Mona Fällberg’s personal tribute to a cultural phenomenon that is rarely seen in galleries.
