We are proud to invite you to jewellery artist Krista Kretzschmar’s first exhibition “Archetypes 2.0” at the gallery. A new scenery including twelve sculptural rings executed in bronze and sparkling stones will be presented.
The starting point is psychiatrist and psychologist Carl Jung’s thoughts on the collective subconscious. Each unique work is linked to one of his twelve archetypes: The Innocent, Everyman, Hero, Outlaw, Explorer, Creator, Ruler, Magician, Lover, Caregiver, Jester, and Sage.
With inspiration from the theory where cultural symbols create the basis for our individual choices, Krista Kretzschmar allows herself to let go and let the creative process flow freely.
