CARINA SETH ANDERSSON

TANGO

OCTOBER 26 – NOVEMBER 16, 2019

In the exhibition Tango, Galleri Sebastian Schildt presents new objects in free-blown glass by Swedish designer Carina Seth Andersson.

The exhibited works explore the characteristics of the molten glass, challenging its boundaries. Her point of departure is the perspective of practical objects, but the works develop character when boundaries are transcended, and the proportions and dimensions of the works are displaced.

Seth Andersson aims to advance her works to a personalized and imperfect expression. The resulting pieces are a dichotomy of rugged and shimmering bodies of glass with different tactile surfaces.

Artist talk: Tuesday November 5, 5.30 pm.
