During an exclusive evening at the gallery, we present two interesting challengers of conservative art jewellery: jewellery designers Sabina Kasper and Bibi van der Velden.

Our latest addition to the gallery, Sabina Kasper, works with precious materials but does not allow herself to be limited by its weighty tradition. Instead she finds new ways of working with the materials, such as printing, laser engraving, perforating, adding fibers, lacquer or even perfume. Kasper’s collections include everything from graffiti-patterned pearls to gemstone cartridges.

This time, Kasper has invited her friend and fellow jewellery designer Bibi van der Velden – a shining star on the international art and design scene. van der Velden creates astonishing, sculptural pieces of jewellery from antique materials such as Chinese jade, historical Italian corals and even mammoth ivory gathered from the Russian tundra.
