WHAT NEW FROM EARTH?
April 6 – 27, 2024
Nina Bondeson expresses herself through a teeming rich embroidery that grows into an unexpected pattern world full of meanings to give voice to fascinating life stories and constructed alter egos. The title of the exhibition “Vad nytt från Jorden?” / “What’s new from Earth?” is taken from one of Nina Bondeson’s embroidered works.
Nina Bondeson, born 1953, lives and works in Mölndal, educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm 1983-88. Nina Bondeson started as a graphic designer, but over the years she has come to work freely with different artistic expressions and materials, not least through embroidery. Represented at the Moderna Museet, the Gothenburg Museum of Art, the Public Art Agency Sweden, in most municipalities and county councils as well as in private collections.
