Maki Okamoto

Maki Okamato expores corpus and jewellery from a sculptural perspective. At Zokei University of Fine Art in Tokyo, she she acquired a sense of proportion and contrasting volumes. With this in mind, she creates objects which communicate with us and challenge conventions.

Maki Okamoto (b. 1983) resides and works in Stockholm. She is educated in sculpture at Zokei University of Fine Art in Tokyo and holds an MFA in Metal Design from Konstfack - University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm.
