Evelina Dovsten

Evelina Dovsten started blowing glass as a teenager. She combines solid craftsmanship skills with both practical and theoretical skills experiences. Her art is often expressed through large assemblage that provides a natural arena for a philosophical and reflective approach.

Evelina Dovsten, born 1987, lives and works in Stockholm, at G-Studion, Gustavsberg. Educated in art history at Stockholm University, with Dan Mirer at Corning Museum of Glass, New York, Pilchuck Glass School and MFA Konstfack CRAFT!. Represented at Nationalmuseum, Stockholm, Ängelholm municipality, Handelsbanken konstförening, Apotekets konstförening, Poliss konstförening and Bold Scandinavia Art Association.
