ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION
MEETINGS
October 29 – November 26, 2022
It is not unusual for the technically advanced silversmith August Happ to use personal experiences as a creative starting-point in his work. His silver corpus is slowly shaped to perfection by thousands and thousands of hammer blows.
August Happ (b. 1980) lives and works in Stockholm. He works at The Oxenstierna Manor in central Stockholm. Happ studied at Craft & Design Nääs Factories and Leksand Folk High School, and did an apprenticeship with silver- and goldsmith Sebastian Schildt in Stockholm.
Exhibited in "Corpus Maximus" (November 11 - 29, 2017).
The smaller bowl, with a concave hammered side, perfectly fits with the side of the larger bowl. Beautiful to serve e.g. strawberries and cream in.
Exhibited in “Quarantena” (May 7 – June 15, 2020).
