Ann Karlholm

Ann Karlholm’s detailed works arise in the meeting between different types of wood. Karlholm’s work is governed by an extensive experience and knowledge of the particular characteristics of various kinds of wood, as well as an intuitive feel for her material, resulting in both tactile and visually appealing works.

Ann Karlholm (b. 1965) lives and works in Stockholm, where she has her own workshop. She is represented at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm. She attended Carl Malmsten’s Workshop School and Nyckelviksskolan, both on Lidingö.
