Anders Knutsson

Anders Knutsson’s art is based on down-to-earth craftsmanship and pictorial mystique. This is contemporary painting that draws attention to the significance of the material in combination with the work of the hand.

Anders Knutsson, born in 1937 in Malmö, moved to the USA in the end of 1960´s and resides today in Brooklyn. Has since 1972 participated in more than 150 exhibitions in Sweden, Germany, UK, Switzerland, Germany, USA, Korea and Japan. Represented at Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Ystads konstmuseum  and Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo NY, Williams College Museum of Art, MA and Castellani Art Museum, Buffalo, New York.
