ANDERS LJUNGBERG

DISTINCTIONS

FEBRUARY 19 – MARCH 20, 2022

Gallery Sebastian Schildt has the great pleasure of inviting you to silversmith Anders Ljungberg’s exhibition “Distinctions”.

“Between things there are agreements that create the conditions for each other’s existence. The table offers the cup its bearing surface, which also completes the table’s identity. When the cup is activated by the user’s body, these positions are transferred in relation to the room, body and its own contents. When the cup is filled, gripped and emptied, it is part of a transformative sequence of events that links body, space and action. The objects in this exhibition examine what distinguishes different components of a user event, and show how the transformations formulate new distinctions in a constantly ongoing flow.”

Anders Ljungberg

The process of artistic exploration results in aesthetically elevated and sculptural objects that occupy the gallery with great aplomb.

Welcome!
